Bau 02 — Handmade Concrete and Glass Wall Light

Bau 02 is a sculptural wall light built from two geometric volumes: a handmade circular concrete base and a frosted glass globe set at its centre.
 
The composition draws on the shapes, rhythm and circular movement of 1950s Bauhaus posters, translating them into soft light and a quiet architectural presence on the wall.
 
Material, form and light
 
Each light is cast, polished and assembled by hand in the studio. The concrete base is available in a terrazzo finish or pigmented terracotta.
 
The frosted glass globe sits at the centre of the circle, softening the light and emphasizing the relationship between surface, volume and shadow.
 
In the space
 
Bau 02 works as a wall light in living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and workspaces, as well as offices and public interiors. For indoor use only.
 
Handmade
 
Because every piece is handmade, subtle variations in colour, texture and stone distribution are expected. Dimensions may vary by up to ±0.2 cm.
